Communication is my strongest skill, and writing is often my method of choice for getting the point across. Highlights include:
- Three published books, all with favorable national reviews
- Successful stint as publisher and editor of a small literary press
- Columns published in the San Francisco Examiner, 1997-1998
- Copious amounts of business and professional writing, including contracts, fundraising, marketing, practice- and process-development, and technical writing on a variety of topics
- Expert knowledge of the print publishing process
- Expert editorial skills (Chicago, APA and ALA styles, as well as development of house styles)
- Strong academic background with professional experience at the University of Mississippi and UCSF
